Very well attended meeting of Skegness Conservative Supper Club.

Batemans Visitor Centre

BATEMAN’S Brewery Visitors Centre at Wainfleet All Saints hosted a very well attended meeting of
Skegness Conservative Supper Club.

The guest speaker was George Bateman and Son Ltd’s managing director, Mr Stuart Bateman.
He explained the brewing process, gave a brief history of the family firm and its successful struggle
to maintain its independence and highlighted some of the challenges facing the brewing industry.
He was introduced by the club’s convenor, Cllr Dick Edginton, and thanked by the Skegness
Conservative Branch chairman, Cllr Steve Kirk.

Guests enjoyed a two-course meal, comprising a carvery and dessert.
