A MORE market-led approach to planning on the East Lindsey coast is being called for by the Skegness group of the Conservative Policy Forum.
The group held a special meeting to consider a response to East Lindsey District Council's consultation exercise on the East Lindsey Local Plan.
The report says "There should be a presumption in favour of house building and developments to promote business, including tourism" in response to the common perception and objections received on local planning applications.
In response to the problem of land banking it was concluded that "There should be a real and significant over-supply of housing approvals on the coast"
